Sunrise Family Session at Carmel River Beach

I’ve been photographing the Meyer family since their wedding nine years ago. I’ve loved seeing their family grow and their story bloom over the years. When they said they wanted a morning session to make it easier for the children, I knew a sunrise session would be perfect.
Being a mom myself, I know that my daughter is always her happiest in the morning, and nothing is more beautiful than the brief, soft light of sunrise. We chose the Carmel River State Beach for their session, and the soft fog was just perfect for a dreamy family session.
