I grew up just over the hill from Santa Cruz in Gilroy, and my childhood summers were spent at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. (Anyone else in the Bay Area use those Pepsi cans for unlimited ride passes for like $5?) When Leslie and Jarrod contacted me, I knew that the Dream Inn, right on Cowell’s Beach, would be a dream venue for a Santa Cruz wedding. It did not disappoint.
I loved Leslie’s fierce approach to her wedding- she knew what she wanted, and she balanced DIY wedding projects with letting the natural beauty of the venue shine. The Dream Inn in Santa Cruz truly was a dream for a wedding! Also, fun fact about this wedding. In the few minutes between their first look and the ceremony, the couple spotted Keanu Reeves at the Aquarius Restaurant bar in the hotel, and got a photo with him. Check it out!
