Spring Engagement Photos at Filoli

Simran and Chris planned their beautiful engagement session at Filoli Historic House in Woodside. If you’ve never visited, it’s nothing short of breathtaking. I have traveled all over Europe, and I was completely transported there when I first saw the beautiful grounds and buildings. And don’t get me started on the pools! The vibrant flowers and well-maintained grounds provided a picturesque backdrop for the photoshoot. Timing the session for sunset was a brilliant decision, as the soft golden light added a romantic and flattering look to the images.

If you are planning a photo session at Filoli, it couldn’t be easier. They require a paid entrance to the grounds, which currently costs $36 per person. Once you are in, you are allowed to do you photoshoot with the agreement that you respect the grounds and other visitors enjoying the park. They advise not to have outfit changes or props/large photography equipment which is no issue for family, proposal and engagement sessions. We got creative with locations to make it look like the had the grounds all to themselves.
