Lake Tahoe Winter Engagement Session

Emily and Mitchell's snowy engagement session in Lake Tahoe was an absolutely breathtaking and magical experience. They both consider Tahoe a special place in thier lives and relationship, and knew they wanted their engagement session to take place in one of their favorite places in the world. The snow-laden pine trees and the pristine white landscape provided a stunning and picturesque backdrop.

Despite the cold and snowy weather, Emily and Mitchell's were troopers and we explored off the beaten path locations to find the perfect view of Lake Tahoe up above.

The soft, natural light created by the snow on the ground is one of my favorite changes from the Monterey coastline I am used to shooting on. If you are planning an engagement session in Lake Tahoe, don’t shy away from the winter times- it’s beautiful all on it’s own!
