When planning their engagement session, Amber and Adam told me that they love going to the Bodega Head on the Sonoma Coast, so it was an easy choice to head there for the start of the session. With any engagement session, I like to focus on activities that the couple does- whether that be hiking, reading, wine tasting, etc. Doing that really helps bring out each person's individual personality, and helps everyone relax and feel like themselves. That really is the point of the engagement session, is it not?
And just in time for a gorgeously warm sunset, we raced to Matanzas Creek Winery to stroll among the blooming lavender plants. Amber and Adam chose this location to be their 'formal' look for the elegant part of the evening. I recommend doing this- having two looks for the night will help diversify the images you have, and what they can be used for.
