I was honored to document this two day wedding over the summer. The first day was the traditional Cambodian wedding ceremonies in the grooms home. This was my first time photographing a Cambodian wedding and I LOVED it! The colors, food, ceremonies and amazing outfits were so stunning.
There was a beautiful blessing by monks, a hair cutting ceremony, and hand fasting, among other traditions. In between each ceremony, Samnong and Samson changed into different intricate outfits that matched their wedding parties. I really look forward to more ceremonies like this! Next I will share day 2 of this celebration, the Western ceremony and reception.
