I don't normally get the jitters for weddings anymore, but going into Lailand and Jeremy’s wedding day, I was a bit nervous. It had been raining all week, and Saturday's forecast was for the most rain and wind that week. Mixing water with a wedding doesn't normally work.
When I arrived on site, all of the bride and groom's friends and family were there doing everything they could to help make their vision come true and take the load off of them. There ceremony site had to be moved last minute, the food prep, first look- everything as different than we planned!
But you know what? The bride didn't stop smiling all day. The guests seemed to rise to occasion with extra love and cheers. Rain boots were the preferred shoe of the evening, and wine kept everyone warm.
I cannot say enough about the grace the Lailand and Jeremy had walking into their very wet wedding day, and I think that speaks volumes to the journey they are on for the rest of their lives.
